Bunkamura Theater Cocoon, Tokyo

Theater Cocoon is a vibrant venue that was established with the concept of blending drama and music. Its productions run from musical dramas through classical concerts to contemporary dance. As well as established works, it also stages experimental works, including contemporary dance from overseas and works by new dramatists. Regular productions include Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, which is staged at the beginning of summer, and the variety show Tingeltangel at the end of the year. Performances usually start at 7pm. There are sometimes matinees. Ticket prices vary according to performance.
