Japanese culture has been influenced by China in the past, so it is no surprise that there are a plethora of Chinese restos here. However, quantity does not necessarily denote quality. Things are different at Chinese Cafe 8. With various locations across Tokyo and one in Osaka, this joint is jumping all year round. A celebrity in China, Chef Wang exported his know how leaving his pretension behind. Find good, cheap, plentiful food at very pocket-friendly prices when you want it - literally. Need some dumplings at 4a? That is not a problem. In fact, with a menu offering upwards of 250 dishes and never closing its doors, this might be the best spot to go anytime of the day or night. Chinese Cafe 8 is definitely worth trying out with room for 150 patrons, and you can whenever you want to. -Stephen Lebovits
