Overview

It comes as no surprise that there are plenty of places to chow down in Tokyo. However, Scandinavian-themed restaurants are still few and far between, and that is only part of what gives Koz Cafe an edge in the Tokyo restaurant scene. Helmed by the the former Executive Chef at the Danish Embassy in Tokyo and Saudi Arabia, and overlooking one of Tokyo's nicest parks, this is a place worth seeking out. Billed as Scandinavian, Chef Thalik creates great food. Koz Cafe, one of a triumvirate of Scandinavian-themed restaurants, serves walk-ins but prefers diners to make reservations, and also offers catering for group events. Seating 20, or 30 standing, Koz Cafe's got a cool name, a great location, charming ambiance, and good food. -Stephen Lebovits
