Compared to some of the other burger joints in Tokyo, including McDonalds, Kua'aina is the best place to go to get a decent sized, juicy burger. Kua'aina is a Hawaiian burger chain. While the food isn't particularly Hawaiian, the decor definitely is. Surfboards are mounted to the walls, and leis hang from the ceiling, giving the restaurant the look of a Hawaiian beach hut. For the burgers, you have the option of choosing your size (1/2 pound or 1/3 pound), type of bread (kaiser roll, multi-grain wheat, hearth rye), and six types of cheese. Besides burgers, Kua'aina also serves sandwiches, such as Rosemary Chicken (820JPY), Mahi Mahi (980JPY), and Turkey, Bacon, & Cheese (1300JPY). The specialty is the Avocado Burger, which will set you back 1240JPY for the 1/2 pounder, and is topped with half of an avocado. There are also daily combos, which include a sandwich or burger, a half order of fries, and a drink. Price varies depending on the type of sandwich, though the 1/3 pound burger combo is always 980JPY--a great deal. They also serve popcorn shrimp, onion rings, and clam chowder. Note that there are other branches of Kua'aina in Tokyo.
