Overview

Not to be confused with the timelessly incredible Miles Davis jazz album of the same name, On the Corner is a fairly recent addition to Tokyo’s cafe scene. Located near Shibuya station, and offering coffee, deli meals, beer and more, this spot is best for breakfasts and brunches, after which it morphs into a cool spot to hang out. With neat, black and white diner decor, On the Corner lets their patrons lounge around in peace. Their menu jumps from a full-on Power Breakfast - a pile of eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato, potato, mushroom and cheese - to more regular fare, including pastas, curries and salads, all reasonably priced. -Stephen Lebovits
