Parco Gekijyo, Tokyo

A medium-sized theater with 458 seats, Parco Gekijyo stages musicals, drama, talkshows and Rakugo, a kind of traditional comic story-telling. From Monday to Friday, the show usually starts at 7pm but there is a matinee starting at 2p on weekends. Inside the theater, there is a refreshment corner serving alcohol as well as soft drinks and light snacks. Theatergoers who have an appetite for something more substantial can drop off at the 7th or 8th floors of the same building, where there are more than a dozen restaurants. Ticket prices vary with the performance. The venue is open Monday-Friday from 6 p.m. and weekends at 2 p.m.
