Overview
Some of the world's best European art has migrated to Japan in the past few decades. Extensive news coverage accompanied this museum's acquisition of Van Gogh's Sunflowers, which was purchased for an astronomical sum of money. Sunflowers joins the bulk of the collection which features work by Japanese surrealist Seiji Togo and a variety of impressionist Western painters. The museum houses a small but handsome and unique collection of works.
