Overview

The Japanese consider cultivation of bonsai, an art. So, if you have an interest in dwarf trees, plan a visit to this museum. The tree exhibits, located on the roof of the Meiko-Shokai building, are changed regularly to reflect the seasons. An added attraction on the eighth floor, is the display of wood block-prints depicting bonsai. An audiotape in English is also available. Admission is 800 yen.
