This university museum is located in residential Komaba on Todai's campus for freshmen and sophomores. Enthusiasts of contemporary art will appreciate Tokyo's version of "The Large Glass", by Marcel Duchamp. Noteworthy older pieces include a 14th century Thai sculpture of Buddha's hand, a jar from Peru's Chimu culture, a jar from 8th century Cyprus, a Yayoi Period bell and a Korean celadon ewer from the Koryo Dynasty.
