Overview
Honmoku Fishing Park is on Pier D of the Honmoku Docks, or the Honmoku Umizuri Shisetsu, on the Yokohama waterfront. Honmoku Fishing Park is a very popular tsuribori, or 'fishing water'. Located in the middle of the Honmoku Fishing Park is the chalk-white, 150-foot-tall Yokohama Port Symbol Tower. The cost for all-day fishing is JPY1,000 for most of the year. However, probably because of the traditionally poor catches during the hot summer months, fishing in the summer is free. Fishing rods and reels can be rented, and bait is available for a fee.
