Khazana, Yokohama

An intimate restaurant that provides a nice break from Tokyo's many Indian chain restaurants, Khazana's chef hails all the way from Calcutta.The atmosphere has a cozy, tucked away feeling with comfortable lighting and tasteful decor which lacks the screaming colors of many Indian chain restaurants in Japan. The food is meant to be ordered a la carte. They serve each item in small dishes so you can get a sampling of as much of their menu as you can hold. Dishes are very reasonable, and they have over 16 kinds of curry available. If you are not sure what you would like, they offer a course menu from which you can pick and choose. Booking is advisable if you are coming in groups of five or more.
