Although this is a franchised offshoot of the immensely successful restaurant with the same name which opened its first shop in Singapore, the spread and quality of dishes here are nearly as good. A familiar selection that lists old favourites like ikan bakar, cumi cumi goreng, kangkong belacan, etc., which by now have become signature dishes of a popular style of cuisine readily accepted by Malaysian taste buds. Liberal use of dark-wooded furnishings, screen panels, wall carvings and an earthy colouring theme evoke a rural, rustic ambience to match the culinary flavour. Soft drinks, fruit juices and hot beverages are available.
