Carey Islands (Pulau Islands), Kuala Lumpur

Located Northwest of Morib and just off Port Klang, the Carey Islands is a vast piece of land blessed with oil plantations. Home to the Mah Meri tribe, this island offers sumptuous sea foods like prawns, crabs and other seafood delights. The Carey Islands is also known to be very cultural with the locals (Mah Meri), showcasing their dance and art in the form of sculptures and paintings. The island is gradually getting modernized with the aid of the government on promoting tourism and the arts and works of the local people. There is no accommodation here besides the guest houses of the Golden Hope Plantations. Guided tours are also organized.
