Central Market Food Court, Kuala Lumpur

Refuel after a long day of shopping at the food court conveniently located on the second level of the Central Market. There are about 10 different stalls each serving tasty and affordable Asian cuisine. Try favorite Malay dishes like nasi lemak (coconut-flavored rice with meat and condiments), mee goreng (spicy fried noodles) with seafood, or rendang curry (chicken or beef stewed in spices until tender). If you’re not in the mood for local cuisine, look for the stalls serving Chinese stir-fries, spicy Thai curries, or Indonesian-style meats with peanut sauce. Not all of the staff speak perfect English, but every stall has an English menu with the prices clearly displayed.
