Cilantro is one of Kuala Lumpur's best fine dining restaurants. Recently rehauled and refurbished, it's housed in the MiCasa All-Suite hotel and head chef Takashi Kimura serves up a novel fusion of French and contemporary Asian cuisine. The interior is spacious and modern without losing a genial sense of intimacy and it attracts a well-heeled crowd. Start with the fresh bread and a generously spreading of truffle butter. Another standout dish is the pappardelle pasta with crispy duck and foie gras, a rich, earthy dish. The food at Cilantro is exceptional and well worth trying out. Reservations are essential.
