Breakfast Bar, Langkawi

This is The place for breakfast in Pantai Cenang. It is popular with locals and tourists—if you come here often enough, you are bound to see the same faces each day. This could be due to the friendliness of the staff, patrons and owner, Mokhtar (who wears a ponytail and always in a white T-shirt, denim jeans and apron). It has a tropical garden setting with a gazebo-like structure, blooming bougainvillea and ocean views. Specialties are western and Malaysian breakfasts and lunch. It is the only place on the island that serves baguettes. Takeaway picnic boxes are available too.
