Those who find cave exploration a fascinating experience, should include Pasir Dagang Cave in their itinerary. Located on Pulau Dayang Bunting, the 100 metre—long cave is small but rich in sights. A fresh water stream flows through it. Observe the amazing shapes of stalagmite and stalactite formations as well as the natural marble floor and walls. Together they create an aura, a bizarre experience not felt at any other place. Watch out, too, for the resident bats. Pulau Dayang Bunting is accessible by speedboat from Kuah. Arrange for a guide to the caves with a travel agent.
