Overview
This garden, the brainchild of the current Prime Minister of Malaysia, opened to the public in 1996. The beautifully landscaped 50-acres garden is a showcase of Langkawi's myths and legends. The scenic park, abundant with lush and colorful tropical blooms, plants and fruit trees, houses some fine examples of traditional Malaysian handicrafts and cultural objects. In addition to the gardens there are four beautiful lakes, a lagoon with a white sandy beach and souvenir shops.
