Overview
First opened in March of 1888, the church underwent minor renovation and was reopened to the public by the Archbishop of Malacca in September 1958. The Eucharistic Adoration chapel, inaugurated in June 1997, lies beside the church but is closed to the public. Painted in sweet albeit faded pastels of beige, aquamarine and yellow, the chapel is closed to the public except during mass.
