This is an authentic South Indian restaurant founded in the 1940s and now run the second generation. Located in a rebuilt two story shop house directly opposite the Maha Mariamman Temple, it has found a loyal following among residents. A simple and functional affair, about 25 square tables lined up in neat rows, and white tiles frame the length and breadth of the walls. Swirling white fans supply some ventilation. Standard South Indian cuisine includes house specilties like chicken briyani, chicken kapitan, roasted chicken, mutton korma, duck sammah and curry fish head.
