Overview
Considered the earliest and today the only Burmese temple in Malaysia, one Nonya Bentong purchased it from George Layton for only 390 Spanish dollars in 1803. Visitors should not miss the Sasana Vamsa Sima Shrine Hall to see the International Standing Buddha's statues. Walk the hallways to be enlightened by the pictures depicting the story of Buddha. Proceed to the prayer hall to wish for happiness or even a higher education by throwing coins into small silver pots. Afterwards, stop by the intimate café just outside for local refreshing delights.
