Looking for the proverbial level playing field? This nine-hole walking golf course, set up within the previously Royal Australian Air Force Complex, would certainly fit the bill as the fairways are as level as the runways once were. Membership was opened to the public in 1985. Unique to the club is that for an affordable price visitors are allowed to play as many rounds as they like. In between rounds golfers can make pit stops at the BAR (a legacy of the Fair Dinkum past) for food and drink. Trolleys are allowed and caddies are for hire at a minimal rate for nine holes.
