Located within the Bangko Sentral (Central Bank) complex, the Met Museum features permanent exhibits of the bank's gold and ancient pottery collections. The Gold Gallery displays ornaments from the 10th to 14th century; the Pottery Gallery showcases exquisite ceramic pieces from 220 BC to 1400 AD. There are also changing exhibitions on the upper level. Other facilities include a library, the Metcafe, the Metshop and the Metbookshop. Admission: Adults PHP80; Senior citizens and people with disabilities: PHP65.

  we came in about past 4 in the afternoon and we undrstand that we only got limited time to roam around the museum and appreciate everything... but it really annoyed us that the museum personnel are aren't as hospitable and friendly as our guide in the museum. they even turned off the lights while we were still inside trying to find the exit and they told us to leave immediately for the reason that they have to set-up the smoke system (whatever system). arts and different historical artifacts inside the museum including the stories behind each piece are really fascinating and interesting but with that kind of treatment, i'm not having any second thought why most of filipinos prefer to go to malls during weekends rather that pay a visit in a museum....   Read More
