When Bon opened in 2006, it was the talk of the town, not just for the eccentric interiors, but also as one of Philippe Starck's masterpieces. Dark, gloomy, gothic and extravagant is what this place can be best described as. It appears to be an abandoned castle being revived for a dining venue. The rhino-head jutting out of the wall, or the metallic skull on the side table, enormous chandeliers only adds to the mystique of the place. The food, however, is as simple as possible; traditional recipes from Asia, Europe and Russia. Caviar, mini crepes, Sushi, Pasta, Risotto are among a few served. Chef Victor Grimailo keeps it as uncomplicated as possible and of course, as tasty as it can be! An extensive wine list, cocktails, liqueurs and even cigars are on the menu.
