Overview

Helikon Theater, created in 1990, showcases opera. The theater is located in an 18th century house in the center of Moscow. The theater's repertoire includes less known Russian and world operas, as well as 'Aida' and 'La Traviatta'. The theater's troupe includes 300 musicians and singers, who between them have received numerous international awards. The theater has recorded several compact discs in Russia and abroad.
