Overview
Kishmish is a traditional Uzbek restaurant. It is decorated to look like the backyard of a prosperous Uzbek house. The clay walls feature many arches and niches which are filled with treasures such as traditional Uzbek jugs, rugs, quilted blankets and cushions. Both modern and traditional Uzbek music is played here and the waiters are dressed in traditional Uzbek garments with 'tiubeteikas' and wide trousers. Uzbek specialties include Lamb Pilaf, Shashlik (kebabs), 'Dastarkhana' chicken salad and a variety of soups.
