Overview

In 1941 Moscow came under serious threat of military takeover. Founded in 1972, this museum of seven galleries is an extensive dedication to those times. The battle for Moscow is illustrated with the help of 4,000 authentic exhibition pieces. Thematic excursions and lectures are organized by the museum for interested students and professors. Among topics covered in the past have been: Heroes of the Moscow Battle, Great commanders of the Moscow Battle and Soviet public opinion of Hitler's Germany. There are also a range of documentary video films.
