Ostankino, Moscow

Situated in the grounds of the Ostankino Estate, this museum includes several 18th century buildings that belonged to a famous Russian noble family of Sheremetevs. Some of the most interesting buildings of the estate are a formerly private theatre for 250 spectators and the estate's oldest structure, the 17th century redbrick five-domed Trinity Church. The museum has several very interesting collections that includes a 18th-19th century furniture collection, a diverse collection of lights, lamps and candleholders, and a rare collection of ceramics and Japanese and Chinese china.
