Overview
Some blocks away from Changi Prison is Changi Camp, where a POW hospital was situated during World War II. Then, in Block 151, British bombardier Standley Warren painted five beautiful murals depicting scenes from the life of Jesus Christ. The Changi Murals were painted over after the war. In 1963, Warren was located in London and brought back to Singapore to restore the paintings. He returned for a second restoration in 1982.
