Overview
Despite not being one of the more popular structures in the city, Church of St. Peter & St. Paul still does fulfill an important role for the Indian and Chinese Catholic communities. It was built in the area in the late 1830's not only as a place of worship, but also for many western missionaries to learn the Chinese language and culture before spreading the word throughout other areas in Asia. Dedicated to St Peter this Church provides a number of services to the parishioners
