Overview
Measuring 120 meters (394 feet) long and 83 meters (272 feet) wide, The Float at Marina Bay is the world’s largest floating stadium. The venue opened in 2007 as a supplementary venue when Singapore’s National Stadium was closed for renovations, and can accommodate 30,000 people in its multi-colored grandstand. The Float is the venue for the annual National Day Parade and is also used for professional sports matches, concerts, and cultural events. The stadium is also part of the Singapore Formula One circuit.
