Overview

Named after the local expression for black coffee, Kopi-O is a small café serving hot drinks and home-style Singaporean food. The crispy toast with soft-boiled eggs and kaya (sweet coconut egg jam) is popular any time of the day, with a steaming cup of coffee or tea. For something more filling, try the laksa (noodle soup in a spicy coconut seafood broth) or nasi lemak (coconut rice with sides of curry, egg, and veggies).  Kopi-O is located within the Esplanade Theater and perfect for a quick meal before or after watching a performance.
