Papa Palheta , Singapore

Papa Palheta is an independent coffee boutique notable for roasting its own beans. There's no menu, so simply tell the barista how you like your coffee and they'll brew you the perfect cup. There are no prices either, so payment is by donation (suggested amount of SGD4-5). The space is small, but cozy with indoor and outdoor seating areas. When they're not busy, the baristas offer demonstrations of different brewing methods including the French press, espresso machine, percolator, and syphon coffee makers.  All of the brewing equipment, accessories, and single-origin, fair trade coffee beans are also for sale.
