Overview
Visitors to Singapore during September should make sure they head to the Qi Tian Gong temple, for during this month its residents celebrate the birth of its deity, Qu Tian Da Sheng: the Monkey God. The temple is one of the oldest Chinese temples in Singapore and is known all over for housing the popular Monkey God festival. The structure is elegant and the temple is frequented by many devotees and tourists. Singapore is home to many Buddhist temples, but this one retains its own unique charm.
