Overview
Red Dot is synonymous with creative and cutting-edge design, and Singapore is the only city outside of Germany to be home to a Red Dot Design Museum. The museum was established in 2005 to showcase the winners of the coveted Red Dot Design Awards as well as other innovative, eco-friendly or just downright beautiful products from around the world. The museum itself is a lesson in design: the building was once the police headquarters, but is now home to an ever-changing array of interactive and exciting displays. Guided tours are available or visitors can explore the museum on their own. The museum also hosts design conferences and a flea market on the first weekend of each month. -Tanya Procyshyn
