Woodlands Town Centre, Singapore

Situated right at the northern tip of Singapore near the causeway to Johor Bahru, Woodlands Town Center is truly at the crossroads. Frequented by commuters using the causeway, the center is a haven for bargain hunters, tourists, and those needing to convert their dollars to ringgit. Fruit stalls are plenty, as are shops selling saris, Malaysian and Indonesian batik, Punjabi suits, Indian bangles and other accessories. Others have piles of towels and rugs, underwear, socks, shorts, shirts, curtain and textiles. For groceries, check out the NTUC supermarket. In addition, there are cinemas and three hawker centers.
