The Singapore Press Holdings Auditorium or the SPH Auditorium, is a cozy theatre with 180 seats (20 removable), and was built as part of the renovation and refurbishing of the Young Musicians Society (YMS) Arts Centre. Operational since 1997, it is housed in what was once a group of shop houses. The quaint, rustic charm of the shop houses remains on the façade of the center, which has under its wings the Singapore Youth Choir and Singapore Youth Chinese Orchestra. Along with the auditorium is the APBF Choral Studio, 3 music studios, a library and offices. Killiney Kopitiam at the ground floor serves freshly brewed coffee and tea, French Toast, fresh kaya made daily and more for those before and after performances when the hungry and the dried-up throats hanker for relief.
