Overview
Set a bit far from the other museums, Taiwan Folk Arts Museum manages to “wow” visitors from afar. This ninety-year old architecture displays performance halls, tea houses and gift shops. The oldness of this building takes visitors back into time – reminiscing Taiwan during the Japanese colonization. To further understand how Taiwan was in those days, audio guides are also available at no added cost. And while immersing oneself in culture, one can also grab some meals in the I-Ran Tea house. Prices vary from NTD450-950 – quite affordable considering it offers you both a scenic and historical venue as well as a sumptuous experience! - Maria Tan
