Phranakorn Bar & Gallery, Bangkok

From the outside the Phranakorn Bar & Gallery resembles a typical Thai art bar, crowded with vintage paraphernalia. The second floor is a gallery dedicated to up-and-coming artists, and features some very interesting work, along with a range of exhibits from time to time. There is also an open-air rooftop bar that provides one of Bangkok's best and cheapest drinking experiences. Choose from the usual beers and Thai whiskey, plus a menu of traditional Thai drinking snacks and main dishes, all at very reasonable prices. With an eclectic mix of Thai pop, jazz, opera and classical music playing softly in the background, what more can you ask for?
