CM Entertainment Complex, Chiang Mai

The Chiang Mai Entertainment Complex is basically a large shelter full of small bars, separated only by dividers, many with pool tables. The Complex is not the most wholesome of venues; parents may consider leaving the kids elsewhere. The noteworthy attraction at the CM Entertainment Complex is the Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) stadium in the center; one of two in Chiang Mai city proper. Unlike the other boxing ring inside the Old City, CM Entertainment Complex has free shows most nights. On weekend nights there are sometimes admission prices for foreigners, but hard bargainers can sometimes get a fairer price out of the ticket salesman. -Scott Johnson
