Overview

This pub was voted one of the world's best by Newsweek in the 1980s and can still be a comfortable place to kick back for a drink and a bite. Do not expect the place to be hopping, though; mellow is the keyword here, whether you are gathered inside or lounging in the spacious garden, listening to the birds in the adjoining aviary. Food is typical European and pub fare with a few Thai dishes. There is a good selection of alcohol and some funny stories are posted in the restroom, reserved for when you are done drinking.
