Taiwanese Restaurant, Chiang Mai

The Thai name of this restaurant and its English translation are not very original, but it’s the large sign in Chinese that marks this restaurant as a place for Taiwanese fast food favorites such as boiled or fried dumplings, Chinese fried noodles, Chinese style noodle soups, and Chinese spring rolls. While the price of Chinese food in Chiang Mai can be a bit steep, Taiwanese Restaurant keeps reasonably below the THB100 level. This is a good place to eat a fast lunch after a morning of shopping on Nimmanhaemin Road or at Kat Suan Kaew, both within walking distance. - Scott Johnson
