Overview

A two-and-a-half-hour drive northeast of Phuket brings you to this fascinating National Park. Khao Sok boasts of Thailand's largest rain forest, and is home to many rare animals and plant species, some of them still unidentified. The Chieo Lan Reservoir within the park has a seven-tier waterfall and is used for fishing, rafting and canoeing. With so much to do, it is worth spending a couple of days to enjoy the wonders of this magnificent place. Simple accommodation is available in tree houses at the Khao Sok National Park.
