Ducks, coots and moorhens abound on this delightful little lake in Belair National Park, and most are unperturbed by the presence of people. A wheelchair-friendly, perimeter track with information stations takes about twenty minutes to complete at a leisurely pace. Trees lining the route include pines, kurrajongs and several species of gum tree. In winter, lucky visitors are treated to vibrant splashes of golden yellow from the flowering wattles. Spring brings the barbecue season and gas barbecues are provided near the two lakeside parking areas.
