Davies Park, Brisbane

Located by the meandering Brisbane River, Davies Park is the city's favorite green space that gathers much buzz from around town. Apart from the locals visiting this place for their daily tryst with nature, the park is much known for its activities in sports. You can find here a volleyball court, rugby facilities, a bike-way, rowing services and so on. The popular local rugby team, Souths Logan Magpies has many of their tournaments and games here. There is also a busy venue known as The Winery known for hosting many private events and functions. A welcome green change from the urban squalor!
