This fascinating collection of memorabilia chronicles the history of the Queensland Police Service since 1864. Significant historical artifacts and cultural documents, such as diaries, conference papers, and station histories, are on display at the Queensland Police Museum. There are more than 2000 artifacts, 2000 papers, books, documents and 3000 photographs. Uniforms, medals, weapons, arms and armor are also included in the collection. Of particular interest are the biographies and stories of prominent police figures in the past. Library and research facilities are available and tours can be arranged by appointment.
