  • Venue Description:
    An initiative by the Australian Government, Canberra Theatre Centre is a place for performing arts to be showcased and is also an events center. This constitutes the Canberra Theater, The Playhouse and The Courtyard Studio. Initially all these were housed in two separate entities and only a walkway connected the playhouse and the theater. Since the center provides top notch facilities it is bound to the choice of many touring theater productions. The center provides for catering services during performances and also has a bar located in the premises of the theater and the playhouse.
