This newcomer to the Hobart restaurant scene is already becoming a favorite with the locals. The owner is a well-known restaurateur in Hobart and famous for his fresh fish in his other establishments. This modern and classy venue is located in the historical Salamanca Square right next to the silos. The cuisine is superb and very reasonable. You might want to try the wonderful spicy seafood paella with banana prawns, local mussels, trevalla, salmon and chorizo sausage or possibly the grain-fed melt-in-your-mouth Tasmanian steak. The menu concentrates on seafood, but there is still something for everyone here. If you still have room, the desserts are scrumptious and well worth a try. There is a small but well-chosen and reasonably priced wine list to accompany your choices.
