This family-run restaurant is a newer addition to the wonderful restaurants in Salamanca and fits right in. When you enter Ciuccio, you can feel the Italian warmth, plus the owner and his wife go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. There is of course pizza on the menu, which is already a favorite with the locals; however, you might want to try the garlic pizza bread for a starter, Veal Saltimboca, or the heavenly spicy prawn risotto with saffron, Italian choriso sausage and green peas. Choose a wine to accompany your sumptuous dish from the small but well-chosen wine list. Complete your evening with coffee and the famous Italian Lemoncello. This venue is also open for a luscious breakfasts on the weekend.
