This restobar is housed in an old English Tudor-styled building, which has had several incarnations. The latest one is the brainchild of a well-known and successful Hobart restaurateur. Have a pre-dinner drink in front of the open fire on a comfy couch, then be escorted to your table by well-trained and attentive staff. You will find the usual steak on the menu, prepared with a slight twist, and some unusual but very good accompaniments, mustard, homemade relish and aoli, plus a choice of sauce. There is also a melt-in-your-mouth, 12-hour roasted shoulder of lamb, along with other delightful chicken and seafood dishes. Only a five minute drive north from Hobart will bring you to the door.
